We went to a pub in St. Margarets, near Twickenham, on Sunday, which has a great little garden. So many dogs and kids! It was really lovely, and Pie and I talked about our future (aaww). Our housemates are moving out in October, and neither of us wants to live with strangers, so we’re looking for a new place. I’d like to live somewhere cheaper than this, and I’m not against a flat, but Pie does djing & producing, so he needs to be somewhere that it’s okay to make noise, which I’m also not against. So we need to find that end-of-terrace in a cheap area, close to his work, with good train links to central London – ideally. Know anywhere?
My gorgeous Osiris trainers which I bought last year, and still haven’t bought pink laces for. They are ridiculously supportive of my problematic feets, although I can’t walk in them for more than a couple of miles. Technically, I can’t really walk more than a couple of miles in any shoes though, so there we are.
We went to Westfield on Saturday, ostensibly to buy things for BOOM! but I ended up in Model’s Own looking out Indian Ocean (the blue-ish one) and they were doing 3 for £12, so that got me hooked in. We had a bit of a HMV binge too, and rebought Jonathan Creek, among other cheap and silly dvds. We did buy lots of First Aid stuff in Boots though, but couldn’t find an airbed anywhere. On the way back we stopped off in Waterstones, and I just raced through A Daughter of Smoke and Bone by Laini Taylor, so I’ll be reviewing that on Silence, Cupcake soon.
It’s still sunny! So I’m going to walk somewhere and buy a jacket potato for my lunch. Ah, the advantages of working from home.
